LightOn – an innovative solution specifically developed for the deaf and hard of hearing – immediately alerts users when a call or SMS is received on their mobile phones. As soon as a new call or SMS comes in, a bright LED light is triggered, which continues to flash until the user notices the missed call and resets the unit. LightOn technology is based on special vibration sensors that are responsive only to the vibrations produced by mobile phones, while ignoring any disturbances from external sources.
Combining smart technology with ease of use and reliability, LightOn has earned widespread praise from customers and end-users alike, at trade shows in both Europe and Asia. How does it work? Once a mobile phone is placed into the LightOn cradle, the device detects the receipt of any incoming call or SMS message through vibration. It then automatically converts this vibration into bright lights in the front and back of the cradle.
Additional benefits Video calls: The LightOn cradle's back-rest is uniquely designed to facilitate the use of sign language via mobile video phones. The angle of the cradle enables you to place your phone in the cradle and then comfortably sign with both hands.
Reliability and Compatibility: LightOn is extremely reliable, simple to use, and compatible with all mobile phones which have a vibrating mode. Integration with Other Devices LightOn is designed to work as a standalone device, and can also be connected to external triggering and wireless signaling systems, thus enabling better communications and improving day-to-day quality of life. LightOn currently supports connectivity to market-leading wireless signaling systems.
